Manoj is an Indian actor, born on 20 May, is the younger son of Mohan Babu . He did his bachelors from Southeastern Oklahoma State University

Manoj is familiar to Telugu audience right from his child hood. He played many roles as a child actor in his own banner movies when his father Mohan Babu is shown as a kid in flash back. He got many appreciations for the role he did in the movie Punya Bhoomi Naa Deshm starred by his father.

He produced many movies under the banner of Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. He has got an elder sister Lakshmi Manchu and an elder brother Vishnu Manchu who is also an upcoming actor in Tollywood.

He started his career as a hero in 2004 with a movie called Donga Dongadi . Raju Bhai in 2007 turned out be a average even though the movie plot and narration was good.

His movie Nenu Meeku Telusa...? is reviewed as an experimental movie. The movie revolves around a recurring amnesiac. It was weaved on the basis of an English movie Clean Slate. It turned out to be an Average at the Box Office.. In 2009 his first movie Prayanam was released in may & that movie gave him much break he needed. Prayanam turned to be a moderate hit at box office. His first movie in 2010, Bindaas turned out to be a hit, receiving raving reviews for being a family entertainer.
